Why Professional Photography?

I think professional photography is an extremely natural transition for me. I grew up with a strong fine art influence. The images I'm producing reflect my public relations, journalism, advertising, television producing, and even modeling background. I believe my professional experience helps me differentiate my photography and shooting style from other photographers.

My style ranges from traditional and artistic to commercial. I'm drawn towards vivid colors and crisp textures. Maybe it's the journalist in me but I try to capture moments that tell a story. Whether it's an expression or time in a person's life, a great image should make me look back one day and remember not just the 'who or what' but the 'when'. I've always believed there is no strict format to a great image. It's like structuring a fine oil painting or book. Art is subjective. It's someones style and creative passion that makes it unique.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, and an extensive background in desktop publishing. I enjoy capturing the moments that count, the days that we don't get back, and telling stories through my images.

I feel strongly that everyone should be able to afford excellent pictures. This is why my prices are incredibly reasonable. I'm a licensed and insured professional photographer. I currently offer photo sessions in Hanford, Lemoore, Visalia, and Fresno, California. Occasionally, I will work outside the Valley for events or destination sessions. I'd like to thank my friends, family, and the community for their continuous support and encouragement in pursuing this passion.
